IBB Sao Tome Transmitting Stationのリスナー１人あたりのQSLカード数制限

本日、西アフリカのギニア湾奥に浮かぶ小さな島国、サントメ・プリンシペ民主共和国にある
IBB Sao Tome Transmitting Station の Helena de Menezesさんより、以下のようなメールを
頂きました。

先月、IBB Sao Tome Transmitting Stationから送信されたVOAの受信報告に対する返信なのですが、
どうやら、この送信所で発行するQSLカードを、「リスナー1人あたり2枚」に制限しているようです。
実は、私はすでに2種、3枚のQSLカードを頂いており、
今回はQSLカードを使ってconfirmすることができない、お望みならばQSLレターを送るよ
ということらしいです。

Radio Bulgaria 1月いっぱいで短波放送廃止 ～ 反対署名

いつも貴重な情報を頂いている「Shortwave Central」の1月14日の記事には驚きました。

Radio Bulgaria slated to leave shortwave January 31

世界、とくにヨーロッパの国際短波放送離れには、歯止めがかかりませんね。
Radio Bulgariaは私も大好きな局の１つですので、大変残念な決定です。
送信インフラの解体まで決定されているようなので、かなり難しいとは思いますが
できうることならば放送継続を望みたいです。

ということで、以下のWebページより嘆願書への署名が行えます。

Radio Habana Cubaからの嬉しいお知らせ

Radio Habana Cubaから、以下のメールを受け取りました。
半年ほど前に送った受信報告書に対して、QSLと"Granma International"という新聞のコピーを
送っていただけるとのことです。

Deutsche Welleからの残念なお知らせ

Deutsche WelleがB11から短波放送の大幅削減することは周知の情報でしたが、
本日未明に、Deutsche WelleのCustomer Serviceより、以下のメールが届きました。

• 短波放送の大部分を中止する決定のついて、その理由を説明したい。


• インターネット、モバイル受信、メディア集約の世界的な普及などが、通信方法と習慣を変えた。DWとすべての他の国際放送局がこれらの変更に乗る必要がある。


• 短波は、最近アフリカを唯一の例外として、世界のほとんどの地域で使用されていない。その結果、アフリカ以外の英語短波放送は、2011年10月30日から廃止される。

とのことです。
高度通信網の世界的な普及は誰もが認める世界的な時流といえ、寂しい決定ですね。
インターネットは便利ですが、平時以外の状況で使える保証、としては
まだまだ短波放送に及ばない、という気がしますが、
もうそれも古い考え方なのでしょうか。

You have been listening to the DW-RADIO/English program for a long time and we hope that Deutsche Welle will remain a frequently used source of information for you also in future. Much to our regret we have to inform you that there will be no more shortwave broadcasts in English for your area as from October 30, 2011. The live stream will also be terminated. But DW-RADIO/English will still be available via the satellite AsiaSat 3S. And on our web site www.dw-world.de you will find a large attractive offer.

We would like to explain to you our reasons for deciding to largely discontinue shortwave transmissions of our radio broadcasts. The worldwide rise of the internet, mobile reception and media convergence have transformed methods and habits of communicating. DW and all other international broadcasters have to ride these changes. Shortwave is nowadays rarely used in most regions of the world, with the sole exception of Africa. As a result, the English shortwave broadcasts outside of Africa will be discontinued as from October 30, 2011.

However, DW will still be at your side to provide you with quality information. We are committed to strengthening our internet offer, TV programming and playout on mobile devices. We believe this is the best way for us to continue offering you strong, high-quality information.

つい先ほど、E-MailにてRadio Bulgariaスペイン語課からB11スケの連絡がありましたので
以下に掲載しておきます。

Estimados amigos oyentes:

Les informamos que a partir del próximo 30 de octubre, Radio Bulgaria transmitirá sus programas en español a las siguientes horas y en las siguientes frecuencias:

• Una emisión de una hora, destinada a América del Sur, desde las cero horas UTC, que se repetirá a las 2 de la madrugada, siempre hora universal, en 7300 y 9400 kilohercios, es decir por las bandas de los 41 y 31 metros.
• Los oyentes de Europa Meridional podrán escuchar una emisión de media hora desde las 7 horas UTC en 7300 y 9800 kilohercios, es decir por las bandas de 41 y 31 metros
• A las 17.30 UTC podrán sintonizar otro programa de media hora en 5900 y 9400 kilohercios, es decir por las bandas de 49 y 31 metros, y disfrutar también de nuestra emisión de 1 hora desde las 21.00 UTC en 6000 y 9400 kHz, o sea por las bandas de 49 y 31 metros.
