When searching the shortwave band these days, CNR (China National Radio) can be received at many frequencies. CNR is divided into several categories, and programs are produced according to each purpose.  Among them, I got information that CNR-5 (The Voice of China) was renamed to "The Voice of the Taiwan Strait" from March 24th last month. At that time, it was received at 9665kHz.  I was able to confirm the broadcast, but there was a bit of interference.  So this time, I tried to receive the start of broadcasting at 5925kHz of Para.  The reception condition is very good, and the SA can be clearly confirmed as "Zhōng yāng guǎng bò diàn shì zǒng Tái tái hǎi zhī shēng".

昨今の短波帯をサーチしていると、至るところで受信できるCNR（China National Radio）。CNR-1、CNR-2、・・・と、いくつものカテゴリ分けがされていて、それぞれの目的に沿った番組が制作されているようです。その中でCNR-5（The Voice of China：中華之声) が先月3月24日から「The Voice of the Taiwan Strait：台海之声」に改称したとの情報を先月末にいただきました。その時に9665kHzで受信して確認はできていたのですが、少し混信がキツかったので、今回はパラの5925kHzで、放送開始時を狙ってみました。受信状態は大変良好で、SAも「中央広播電視総台 台海之声（Zhōngyāng guǎngbò diànshì zǒng Tái táihǎi zhī shēng）」と、はっきり確認することができます。

今朝のRead Beyond Australia（旧HCJB）日本語放送は、Winter SWL Festの様子をJSWCの大武さんと小原栄さんでZoom対談したものでしたね。Kununurra送信所からの19mbは、A21シーズンもとても強力に当地横浜に届いています。
ところでこの放送のオープニングには、ずいぶん前からワライカワセミの鳴き声が使われています。短波のフェーディングとのノイズの向こうから聞こえてくるワライカワセミの鳴き声は、私や我妻を含め、BCLブームを経験したお年頃の方にはとても懐かしいサウンドですので、一度は記録に残しておきたいな～と思っていました。ちょうどよい機会でしたので、ここにアップしておきます。

The BBC World Service from the Woofferton transmission station in England and this broadcast described in short-wave.info etc. are actually relayed from Ascension Island, an isolated island in the South Atlantic Ocean, on the BBC homepage. I was able to confirm it in the schedule and the list of HFCC. I am grateful to Mr. Yoneda for pointing this out.

イングランドのWoofferton送信所からのBBC World Serviceとshort-wave.info等に記載されたこの放送は、実は南大西洋上の絶海の孤島・アセンション島からの中継であることが、BBCのホームページに掲載されたスケジュールおよびHFCCのリストで確認できました。ご指摘いただきました米田さんには感謝です。

The A21 schedule period started this week, and this morning (Japan), I finally calmed down and listened to the radio. Well, I was searching for 41mb, wondering where to listen to the broadcast. Then, at 7325kHz, which I often see at China Radio International and Radio Romania International, a live talk with a strong signal came out and I often heard the word "Nigeria". It was a Hausa broadcast of VOA-Voice of America from Sao Tome and Principe.
It's nostalgic, I once reported directly to the Sao Tome transmission office and issued a QSL card.
However, from 2058 UTC, the strong carrier wave of CRI English broadcasting began to appear at the same frequency, and I could not hear the announcement and IS at the end of the VOA program. At the next opportunity, I would like to listen to the start of the 2030 UTC broadcast.
A21が始まって、ようやく落ち着いてラジオに向き合えた今朝。さて、どこから聞いてみようかな～と41mbをダイアルでグリグリしていたら、China Radio InternationalやRadio Romania Internationalでよく目にする 7325kHz で、何やら強力な信号のライブトークが流れてきて「ナイジェリア」を多発。VOA-Voice of AmericaのサントメプリンシペからのHausa語放送でした。懐かしいですね、かつてサントメの送信所に直接レポートして、QSLを発行していただきました。ただ、05:58JSTから、やっぱり同波のCRI英語放送の超強力なキャリアが出始めて、番組終了時のアナウンスは潰されてしまいました。次は05:30JSTの放送開始時を狙ってみたいと思います。

A few days ago I listened to BBC World Service on 49mb from Oman, Middle East. And the BBC World Service received this morning (in Japan) is English program on 25mb from Ascension Island, an isolated island in the South Atlantic Ocean.
I was listening to the BBC from Ascension Island this morning, but I noticed that I could receive VOA-Voice of America from South Africa's landlocked country Botswana at a nearby frequency, so I switched the target station from BBC to VOA. Like the BBC from Ascension Island, this shortwave broadcast to West Africa is impressed with the signal strength of sufficient strength in Yokohama, Japan.
今朝もアセンション島からのBBCを聴いていたのですが、そのすぐ近くで南部アフリカの内陸国ボツワナ（Botswana）からのVOA-Voice of Americaが元気に聞こえていることに気づいて、途中から鞍替えしました。こちらもアセンション島からのBBCと同じく西アフリカ向けですが、当地横浜でも十分に入感しています。
